There’s an old saying. It goes something along the lines of “only at the Minnesota state fair.”
I recently attended the largest and most well attended state fair in the country. The Minnesota state fair takes place on year-round state fair grounds in St. Paul near the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. I was there to see a band by the name of Trampled by Turtles. We didn’t get to the right place in time to see more than three songs, but it was a good show nonetheless. Afterwards, my roommates and I ventured around checking out some of the smaller bars with live bands on the fair grounds. We came upon the venue in the video below, and we saw something none of us had words for. We saw what must have been a clinic on every cheesey wedding dance move in existence. This guy in the crowd was either tripping or completely insane, but it made for some great entertainment. I took over 8 minutes of video of him, and trust me when I say he was going for much longer. Notice how he faces the crowd almost the entire time. He was making eye contact with us and almost pretending to be a part of the show. Either way, enjoy this wonderful dance video.
